WHEREAS, earlier this year the County settled litigation issues related to the construction of the Ft. Osage Education Center and the settlement funds received by the County will be appropriated in the 2012 budget; and,
WHEREAS, the final attorney's fees are now due and payable and an appropriation is necessary in order to place the required funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
