BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "LB" (Local Business) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District LB to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 0.73 ñ acres generally located at the southwest corner of Colbern Road and Buckner -Tarsney Road and specifically described as the south 160 feet of the East 240 feet of all the following described real property: beginning at the center of Section 27, Township 48, Range 30, thence West 568 feet, thence south 132 feet, thence West 257 feet, thence South 268 feet, thence East 825 feet, thence North 400 feet to the beginning, all in Jackson County, Missouri.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ted Markham (RZ-98-100), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, favorably recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on April 16, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
