AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain18 ± acre tract.

 Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 18 ± acres are approximately 1/4 of a mile north of U.S. Highway 50 on the east side of Lone Jack-Lee’s Summit Road and specifically described as:

 

The north ½ of the northwest 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of section 24, township 47, range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, except the north 70 feet thereof, and further except that part in Hutt Road and in Lee’s Summit Road and further except the  following tract in the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter section 24, township 47 north, range 30 west, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: commencing at the southwest corner of said quarter section; thence north 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east along the west line thereof a distance of 20.10 feet; thence north 84 degrees 23 minutes 57 seconds east, parallel to the south line of said quarter section a distance of 20.10 feet to the point of beginning, said point being on the east right-of-way line of a county road along the west side of said quarter section and on the north right-of-way line of a county road along the south side of said quarter section; thence north 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east along the east right-of-way line of said county road, a distance of 640.05 feet; thence north 84 degrees 31 minutes 47 seconds east along the north line of said quarter section, a distance of 649.63 feet; thence south 00 degrees 16 minutes 39 seconds west along the east line of said quarter section, a distance of 638.88 feet; thence south 84 degrees 23 minutes 57 west along the north right-of-way line of said county road, a distance of 646.67 feet to the true point of beginning. Subject to all easements, restrictions, reservations, and covenants, now of record, if any aka 13117 Lone Jack-Lee’s Summit Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of James Bush (RZ-2004-346), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 17, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
