IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 10.06 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2803, May 4, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Description: A 10.06 ñ acre tract generally located 1/4 ñ of a mile south of Truman Road on the east side of Buckner-Tarsney Road and specifically described as a tract of land in Section 14, Township 49, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 14; thence North 3 degrees 27 minutes 21 seconds West along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 14, a distance of 331.25 feet; thence North 86 degrees 25 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 40.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence North 86 degrees 25 minutes 45 seconds East, a distance of 1282.97 feet; thence South 3 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds Est, a distance of 331.44 feet; thence South 86 degrees 25 minutes 15 seconds West, a distance of 1284.10 feet; thence North 3 degrees 27 minutes 21 seconds West, a distance of 331.25 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 10.06 acres more or less. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Stella Reser (RZ-98-101), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on April 16, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
