BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:  The 3 ± acres are located approximately one-half (1/2) of a mile north of Nebgen Road on the east side of Stillhouse Road and specifically described as all that part of the South half of the Southwest Quarter in Section 7, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri, described in a Quit-Claim Deed recorded in the Jackson County Recorder of Deeds Office as Instrument No. 2009E0018684, more fully described as follows:  Commencing at the Center of Section 7, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri; thence along the East line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 7, South 01 degrees 21 minutes 45 seconds West (this bearing and all following bearings being referenced to grid North as established by Jackson County State Plane Coordinates System Control point JA-14), a distance of 1312.64 feet to a point on said East line, said point also being the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 7; thence departing said corner, continuing along said East line, South 01 degrees 21 minutes 45 seconds West, a distance of 979.89 feet to the Northeast corner a 10 acre tract of land described in a Missouri Warranty Deed recorded in the Jackson County Recorder of Deeds Office as Document No. 2001I0089298 (1-3); thence departing said East line, along the North line of said 10 acre tract, North 87 degrees 34 minutes 17 seconds West, a distance of 1269.19 feet to a point on the East right of way of Stillhouse Road, as now established; thence along said East right of way line, North 12 degrees 02 minutes 25 seconds East, a distance of 245.37 feet to a point of curve; thence continuing along said East line, along a curve to the left being tangent to the last described course and having a Radius of 650.65 feet for an arc distance of 14.77 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing along said curve to the left with an Initial Tangent Bearing of North 10 degrees 44 minutes 23 seconds East and having a Radius of 650.65 feet for an arc distance of 199.37 feet; thence continuing along said East right of way, North 06 degrees 49 minutes 01 seconds West, a distance of 17.97 feet; thence departing said East right of way, North 88 degrees 27 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 621.80 feet; thence South 01 degrees 53 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 212.27 feet; thence South 88 degrees 06 minutes 32 seconds West, a distance of 633.58 feet to the Point of Beginning.  Containing 133,153.976 square feet or 3.057 acres aka 7323 S. Stillhouse Road.  
 
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jason Cross (RZ-2009-468), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on September 17, 2009, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
