INTRODUCED BY Dan Tarwater, County Legislator
WHEREAS, Kansas City Power & Light Company of Kansas City, MO, has requested a 10-ft. permanent power line easement to improve and enhance electrical circuits in connection with the Kansas City Chiefs Training Facility project; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority which is managing the renovation project on the County's behalf, has recommended that the County execute the attached easement as in best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Easement Conveyance is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the Easement on behalf of the County.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
