WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Salem East Concrete Ditch (W) Project, Number 2414, to acquire a construction ingress/egress easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, Karee L. Vaughn, in the amount of $865.00, said property being more fully described in the offer letter, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said construction ingress/egress easement, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed this conveyance in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $865.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $865.00 in the name of Karee L. Vaughn, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Martha Poe, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
