Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR, a tract of land known as 36810 E. Steinhauser Road, Sibley, MO, specifically described as follows:
 
Description: A tract of land being located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 6 Township 49, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri described as follows: Commencing at at the Northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 87 ° 36' 58" West along the North Line of said Northeast Quarter, a distance 649.24 feet to the Northeast Corner of the West 16.5 feet of the North 28 acres of the East Half of the East Half of said Northeast Quarter, said point being the Point of Beginning; Thence South 01° 42' 34" West along the East line of said 16.5 feet, a distance of 469.68 feet; thence along a curve to the right, having a radius of 450.97 feet, a Central Angle of 26° 03' 24", an Arc Distance of 205.09 feet and a Chord Bearing South 57° 37' 29" West, 203.33 feet; Thence South 69° 24' 30 " West, a distance of 148.60 feet to a point of curvature to the right; Thence along a non-tangent curve to the right, having a Radius of 693.42 feet, an Arc Distance of 208.27 feet and a Chord Bearing South 78° 00' 46" West, 207.49 feet; Thence South 86° 37' 03" West, a distance of 222.00 feet tot the Southeast Corner of Lot 1, Triplett Acres, a subdivision I said County and State; Thence North 03° 06' 38" East, a distance of 717.46 feet along the East Line of said Lot 1, to the Northeast corner thereof; Thence South 87° 36' 58" East along the North Line of said Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 49, Range 29, a distance of 711.32 feet to the Point of Beginning.
 
 
Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of James and Erin Hackley (RZ-2013-499), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on May 16, 2013, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
