IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 28-97 for the furnishing of park ranger uniforms for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to Griffey Uniforms of Kansas City, MO ($17,037.00), R & R Uniforms of Louisville, KY ($2,455.49), and Western Wear of Independence, MO ($2,428.05), to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated aggregate amount of $21,920.54. Intro RESOLUTION # 11716, April 21, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 28-97 for the furnishing of park ranger uniforms for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and, WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and, WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following vendors: VENDOR ESTIMATED AWARD Griffey Uniforms $17,037.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO R & R Uniforms $2,455.49 Louisville, KY Western Wear $2,428.05 Independence, MO therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
