Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16349, dated July 9, 2007, the County did award a contract for the 2007 Pavement Maintenance Phase 2, Micro-Surfacing Project, No. 3100, to Vance Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $272,084.80; and,
WHEREAS, the project is now complete, and has been accepted by the Director of Public Works, such that final payment is now due and owing; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make final payment on the contract with Vance Brothers, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for the 2007 Pavement Maintenance Phase 2, Micro-Surfacing Project, No. 3100.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
