Anti-Drug Committee Amendment October 14, 1996 IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE appropriating $28,204.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Grant Fund to cover the cost of a victim advocate for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office's Victim Services Program, and the transfer of matching funds therefor. Intro ORDINANCE 2589, October 7, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety has awarded the Prosecuting Attorney's office a grant in the amount of $22,500.00 to cover the cost of a victim advocate for its Victim Services Program; and, WHEREAS, said grant is subject to a $5,704.00 local match; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Grant Fund: DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO Prosecuting Attorney Prosecutor's Contingency Fund $5,704 Unappropriated Surplus $5,704 Increase Revenue 22,500 Unappropriated Surplus 22,500 Unappropriated Surplus 28,204 Victim Services Program Regular Salaries 20,800 FICA Taxes 1,591 Pension Contributions 1,664 Insurance Benefits 3,240 Unemployment Insurance 104 Worker's Compensation 291 Long Term Disability 104 Life Insurance 53 Travel Expense 297 Education Benefits 60Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the County Executive.
