Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

                     Description:

 

A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located ¼ ± of a mile east of Gardner Road on the south side of Missouri Route FF (Truman Road) and more specifically described as:

 

All that part of the Northeast ¼ of the North ½ of the East ½ of the Northeast ¼, Section 18, Township 49 North, Range 29 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri. Being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Section 18-49-29; thence with the East line of said section S01̊35'42"W, 662.88' to the Southeast corner of the Northeast ¼ of the North ½ of the East ½ of the Northeast ¼ of said Section 18-49-29; thence N88̊44'03"W, 663.76' to the Southwest corner of said fractional section; thence N01̊32'31"E to the Northwest corner of the aforesaid Northeast ¼ of the North ½ of the East ½ of the Northeast ¼ of Section 18-49-29; thence with the North line of said section S88̊50'48"E, 664.34' back to the POINT of BEGINNING and containing 439,739.42 sq. ft. of 10.09 acres, aka 37101 E. Truman Road.                     

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Brett Wren (RZ-2006-386), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on January 19, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
