Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District, the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, and the RR-p (Residential Ranchette - Planned Development) District so that there will be transferred from District A and District RR to District RR-p, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 50 ± acres are located at the southeast corner of Alley Jackson Road and Gammon Road, includes Lots 1 and 2 of Bramble Estates, a Jackson County subdivision and is legally described as:

 

A tract of land being in part of the southeast quarter of Section 16, Township 47 North, Range 30 West in Jackson County, Missouri more particularly described as follows:  beginning at the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 16, said point also being the southwest corner of Lot 2 Bramble Estates, a subdivision as recorded in Jackson County, Missouri; thence easterly along the south line of said Section 16, S 89̊51'43" E, 2633.02 feet to the southeast corner of said Section 16; thence northerly along the east line of said Section 16, N 02̊13'53" E, 845.87 feet; thence westerly N 89̊51'43" W, 1847.08 feet, to a point on the south line of Lot 7 Country Summit Estates, a subdivision as recorded in Jackson County, Missouri; thence N 43̊49'05" W, 62.87 feet to a point on the south right of way line of Alley Jackson, a right of way as recorded in Jackson County, Missouri; thence along a curve to the right having a radius 280.00 feet, an arc distance 244.89 feet, an initial tangent bearing N 40̊02'15" E; thence continuing along the south right of way line of said Alley Jackson N 89̊50'42" W, 530.37 feet to the west line of said Section 16; thence southerly along said west line S 02̊09'45" W, 790.82 feet returning to the point of beginning.  Containing 50.3376 acres (2,192,706 sq.ft.) more or less.

Section 2.  The preliminary plat "The Hideaway," creating a twelve-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved.

 

Section 3.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Dave Putthoff (RZ-2006-407), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on August 17, 2006, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
