Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 12302, dated August 11, 1998, a contract with Alenco, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the furnishing and installation of vinyl siding for structures at the Parks and Recreation Department's Longview Golf Course to Alenco, Inc., of Lenexa, KS was approved; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase this contract in the amount of $7,605.00 to cover the cost of the furnishing and installation of vinyl siding at the Longview Ranger Station/Special Recreation Building; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract upon the terms and conditions of the purchase requisition attached hereto; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
