Body
WHEREAS, the County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and Eastern Jackson County desire to enter into an Agreement whereunder the County will contract for services in the amount of $25,000.00 with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and Eastern Jackson County for the Project Learn program which focuses on improving academic achievement and commitment to school; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute an agreement on behalf of the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
