IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 39.4 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Ryan's Ridge," creating a six-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2917, June 14, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: COMMENCING AT THE FOUND CENTER OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 48, RANGE 30 IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI; THENCE SOUTH 87 DEGREES, 41 MINUTES, 24 SECONDS EAST, 1315.42 FEET ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 5 TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 5, SAID CORNER BEING THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING OF THIS DESCRIPTION; THENCE CONTINUING SOUTH 87 DEGREES, 41 MINUTES, 24 SECONDS EAST, 1315.42 FEET ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID QUARTER SECTION TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE SOUTH 00 DEGREES, 26 MINUTES, 40 SECONDS WEST, 1305.02 FEET ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID QUARTER SECTION TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID QUARTER QUARTER; THENCE NORTH 87 DEGREES, 47 MINUTES, 26 SECONDS WEST, 1310.33 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID QUARTER QUARTER SECTION; THENCE NORTH 01 DEGREE, 41 MINUTES, 39 SECONDS EAST, 1307.36 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING OF THIS DESCRIPTION. THE ABOVE DESCRIBED TRACT OF LAND CONTAINS 39.37 ACRES AND IS SUBJECT TO ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAYS, EASEMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS OF RECORD, IF ANY. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Ryan's Ridge," creating a six-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Steve Gildehaus (RZ-99-151), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
