IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to GB (General Business), a certain 15.15 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2590, October 7, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB a tract of land described as follows: The 15.5 + acre tract of land is generally located at the northeast corner of Missouri 7 Highway and Wyatt Road and more specifically described as follows: The west 500 feet of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Colonial Nursery Corporation (RZ-96-040), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a 5 to 3 vote, failed to recommend approval of this application in a public hearing on September 19, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning. Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
