Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3336, dated January 6, 2003, the Legislature did, on February 3, 2003, adopt the 2003 annual Jackson County budget; and,
WHEREAS, due to an oversight in the preparation of an amendment of Ordinance 3336, that ordinance omitted the appropriation of $300,151.00 in new revenue; and,
WHEREAS, the attachments to Ordinance 3336 do contain sufficient authorization for the expenditure of this sum; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that $300,151.00 be and hereby is appropriated from the unappropriated surplus of the 2003 General Fund, which sum may be expended in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 3336, dated January 6, 2003, and the attachments thereto.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
