Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 10047, dated December 6, 1993, enter into a contract with River Oaks Construction of Lee's Summit, MO, in the actual amount of $7,684.42, for the ADA Barrier Removal Project; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary for additional work to the Jackson County Courthouse, Jackson County Historic Courthouse, Criminal Justice Center, Jackson County Courthouse Annex, Hilltop Residential Center, and McCune Residential Center, and said change order will result in an increase of $7,684.42 in the contract amount; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, except final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
