WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has one emergency generator, Libby Power System #5SKQ 127819, 1970's motor part #29005-3Y, 68.75KVA 165 amp, White engine, 3326093-6-34-00X-284, incline 6 cylinder propane, 12 volt 30013J147, that has become excess property; and,
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared this generator surplus; and,
WWHEREAS, by Resolution 11427 dated September 16, 1996, the Legislature authorized the purchase of an emergency generator for use by the Sheriff's Department from Central Detroit Diesel of Liberty, MO; and,
HEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the surplus generator be used as a trade-in to Central Detroit Diesel, per bid specifications; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of a trade-in to Central Detroit Diesel of Liberty, MO, on the new emergency generator...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
