Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation Bid No. BB200411 for the furnishing of auto/truck brake parts and service for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments; and,
WHEREAS, the only responsive bid was received from O'Reilly Auto Parts of Springfield, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends that award be made to O'Reilly Auto Parts of Springfield, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
