AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE  # 3366,    May 12, 2003

 

 Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:  The 10 ± acre tract is generally located 1/4 ± mile north of Hammond Road on the west side of Corn Road and specifically described as:

 

A 10 ± acre tract of land located in the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 35, Township 48 North of the Baseline, Range 30 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, all in Jackson County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast quarter of said Section 35; thence South 01̊34'08" West along the West line of said quarter quarter section, a distance of 992.92 feet to the Point of Beginning of the tract of land described herein; thence South 88̊14'49" East and parallel with the South line of said quarter quarter section, a distance of 1303.22 feet to a point on the East line of said quarter quarter section; thence North 88̊14'49" West along the South line of said quarter quarter section, a distance of 1301.15 feet to the Southwest corner of the said quarter quarter section; thence North 01̊34'08" West along the West line of said quarter quarter section, a distance of 330.00 feet to the point of Beginning.  The above described tract contains, 9.93 acres more or less and is subject to all easements, restrictions, reservations, rights of way and covenants either recorded or unrecorded, if any, aka 10416 S. Corn Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of David Gillette. (RZ-2003-301), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on April 17, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

 Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
