Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division's Child Protection Center (CPC) has been awarded a grant in the amount of $15,000.00 by the Jewish Heritage Foundation for the period commencing August 31, 2006, and continuing until all funding has been expended; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used for the partial salary of a full time forensic interviewer; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funding in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Grant Fund:
