WHEREAS, in 2014, Crows Coffee opened its doors at the South Plaza location, marking the beginning of a journey that has since made it a cherished and essential part of the Kansas City community; and,
WHEREAS, Crows Coffee expanded its reach and influence in 2016 with the opening of its second location in Waldo, introducing house-made bakery options that quickly became a favorite among locals; and,
WHEREAS, Crows Coffee continued its growth by opening its third location in 2018 at the newly renovated Red Bridge Shopping Center, further solidifying its presence as a neighborhood staple; and,
WHEREAS, Crows Coffee has been steadfast in its commitment to creating an exceptional coffee experience, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers, and engaging deeply with the neighborhoods it serves; and,
WHEREAS, the company has demonstrated a strong dedication to its employees, known as the "Crew," by fostering a positive work environment that reflects its core values of community and support; and,
WHEREAS, Crows Coffee looks to the future with excitement as it plans to expand its operations, including the opening of a new roasting facility, enhancing its baking operations, and launching an additional location within the next year, all of which underscore its commitment to growth and excellence; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Legislature honors and celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Crows Coffee, recognizes its contributions to the community and its ongoing commitment to fostering a strong sense of community through its operations.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
