BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. A conditional use permit for twenty years to operate a horse boarding stable and provide riding lessons, subject to restrictions specified on the attached Request for Legislative Action, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows:
A 14.35 ñ acre tract of land generally located 1/4 mile north of US Highway 50 on the west side of Easley Road and more specifically described
That part of the West half of Section 8, Township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8; Thence North 0 07' 34" East a distance of 1311.50 feet to the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8; Thence North 0 01' 40" East along the East line thereof a distance of 401.19 feet, said point being the True Point of Beginning; Thence continuing North 0 01' 40" East, a distance of 481.81 feet; Thence North 65 20' 00" West, a distance of 327.50 feet; Thence North 9 31' 00" West, a distance of 34.96 feet; Thence North 63 41' 12" West, a distance of 30.34 feet; Thence on a curve to the left having a 195.00 foot radius, a distance of 99.36 feet; Thence South 84 36' 53" West, a distance of 140.23 feet; Thence South 79 32' 11" West, a distance of 223.90 feet; Thence South 74 21' 32" West, a distance of 29.43 feet; Thence South 11 46' 58" East, a distance of 220.56 feet; Thence South 83 29' 36" West a distance of 318.84 feet; Thence South 0 03' 22" West, a distance of 405.23 feet; Thence North 88 14' 43" East, and parallel to the South line of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 8, a distance of 1087.51 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Michael Troch, (CU-97-019), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on May 15, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
