Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge, Project 2075-3, to acquire a right-of-way, permanent drainage easement, and temporary easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, America's Favorite Chicken Company, in the amount of $20,234.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said right-of-way, permanent drainage easement, and temporary easement, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $20,234.00; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:
