AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 10 ± acre tract.

 Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

                     Description:

 

A 10± acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Borgman Road and Bone Hill Road and specifically described as follows:

 

Description: All that part of the North ½ of the Northeast ¼ of the Northwest ¼, except the East 660.00' thereof, Section 31, Township 51 North, Range 29 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri.  Being more particularly described as follows:  Commencing at the North ¼ corner of said Section 31-50-29; thence with the North line of the Northwest ¼ of said section N87̊35'55"W, 660.00' to the Point of Beginning; thence leaving said Point of Beginning and continuing with aforesaid North line N87̊35'55"W, 665.88' to the Northwest corner of the Northeast ¼ of the Northwest ¼; thence with the West line said ¼, ¼ section S02̊30'17"E, 662.98'; thence leaving said West line S87̊38'59"E. 668.75'; thence N02̊15'24"E, 662.38' back to the Point of Beginning and containing 442,209.50 sq.ft. or 10.15 acres.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Mark and Tracy Watkins (RZ-2005-385), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on December 15, 2005, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
