Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has entered into a reimbursement agreement with the Kansas City Missouri School District ("District") for the period September 1, 2014, to July 31, 2015, pursuant to which the District will provide funds to the Family Court Division for staffing the Kansas City Missouri School District Contract program; and,
WHEREAS, the program addresses the problem of unexcused absences of student probationers including the assessment of truancy cases in general; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the undesignated fund balance of the 2014 Grant Fund:
