WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for the furnishing of live bait; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 1-10 for the furnishing of live bait for use by Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of seventeen (17) notifications were distributed and two (2) responses were received as follows:

J & J Enterprises $10.00 $9.00 $8.50 $1.50

and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twenty-four (24) month term and supply contract with two (2) twelve (12) month options to extend to J & J Enterprises of Butler, MO, as the lowest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have been made in the then current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
