Body
WHEREAS, the City of Oak Grove has requested the use of $27,800.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of street repairs to R. D. Mize Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Oak Grove and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $27,800.00 to the City of Oak Grove for improvements to R.D. Mize Road.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
