Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 5.4 ± acre tract of land generally located approximately ½ ± mile south of Corn Road on the west side of Russell Road and specifically described as all that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 48, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: 

 

Beginning on the East line of said Northwest Quarter North 2 degrees 33 minutes 54 seconds East, along said line, 595.90 feet from the Southeast corner of Northwest Quarter; thence North 87 degrees 26 minutes 06 seconds West, 532.91 feet; thence North 2 degrees 33 minutes 54 seconds East, 470.00 feet; thence South 87 degrees 26 minutes 06 seconds East, 532.91 feet to said East line; thence South 2 degrees 33 minutes 54 seconds West, along said East line, 470.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 5.750 acres, more or less, and subject to that part on the East being used for road right of way purposes, aka 8522 S. Russell Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Cleo and Yvonne Muller (RZ-2006-415), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on October 19, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
