Body

 WHEREAS, Crane Brewing Company, LLC entered into a previous Lease Agreement with Jackson County by Resolution 20851 for the same property; and,

 

WHEREAS, Crane Brewing Company, LLC, has requested to lease approximately 25,500 square feet of County property in the Rock Island Rail Corridor, located adjacent to Crane’s business located at 6515 Railroad Street, Raytown, MO, 64133, for a period of twelve months, with a mutual option to renew; and,

 

WHEREAS, the attached Lease outlines and clarifies the responsibilities of the County and Crane, including liability and the use of grounds, and provides for an annual rental fee payable to the County in the amount of $3,000.00; and,

 

WHEREAS, this Lease will allow Crane to continue to use the leased area for picnic tables, parking, and other related business purposes, and will not impact trail operations or maintenance; and,

 

 

WHEREAS, this Lease is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached Lease with Crane Brewing Company, LLC.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
