Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $131,523.00 by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Division of Youth Services, for the period of July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to orchestrate the development and maintenance of integrated systems of care for emotionally disturbed or mentally disordered juveniles within certain correctional facilities, namely Hilltop and McCune Residential Centers; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the fund balance of the 2008 Grant Fund:
