IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION approving the purchase of one 1999 Dodge B-3500 full size cargo van for use by the Sheriff's Department, from Raytown Dodge of Raytown, MO, in the actual amount of $18,062.00, under an existing government contract of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS. Intro RESOLUTION #12669, April 19, 1999 INTRODUCED BY Terry Young, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing pursuant to Section 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, recommends the purchase of one 1999 Dodge B-3500 full size cargo van from Raytown Dodge of Raytown, MO, in the actual amount of $18,062.00, for use by the Sheriff's Department, under the Mid-America Council of Public Purchasing Joint Governmental Fleet Bid, City of Kansas City, KS, Bid No. 98-065, an existing government contract of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS; and, WHEREAS, Section 1064.00, Jackson County Code, 1984, requires that, for any such purchase in excess of $5,000, the Director of Purchasing shall submit the purchase to the County Legislature for approval; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchase under the existing government contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
