Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 17140 the Legislature did authorized the County Executive to execute an agreement with certain outside agencies which engage in anti-drug related activities; and
WHEREAS, one of the agreements authorized by this Resolution was with the Jackson County Family Court; and
WHEREAS, an inter-departmental transfer would have been the more appropriate action; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; and,
WHEREAS, in connection with this transfer, the previous agreement with the Family Court is being terminated; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2010 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
