AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 15.1 + acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3061, August 28, 2000

 

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 15.1 ± acre tract of land generally located 3/4 of a mile south of Cline Road on the east side of Hunt Road and more specifically described:

 

A portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 5, Township 47 North, Range 29 West, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:  Beginning at the Northwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence S 3°25'20"W along the West line of said quarter quarter section for

500.00 feet for the Point of Beginning; thence S 88°02'06"E parallel to the North line of said quarter quarter section for 875.00 feet; thence S 3°25'20"W parallel to said West line for 750 feet; thence N 88°02'06"W parallel to said North line for 875.00 feet to said West line; thence N 3°25'20"E along said West line for 750.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Drummand Development and Construction (RZ-2000-199), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 17, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
