Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposal No. 29-02 for the furnishing of waste audit services for use by the Office of Resource Conservation; and,
WHEREAS, the only proposal received was from Bridging the Gap, Inc., of Kansas City (Jackson County), Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Bridging the Gap, Inc., of Kansas City, Missouri for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best proposal; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County a contract with Bridging the Gap, Inc., of Kansas City, Missouri; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
