Body
WHEREAS, the County did enter into a Professional Services Agreement and First Addendum thereto for geotechnical engineering and material testing services with Terracon Consultants, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the Fort Osage Education Center, in a total amount of $72,000.00 to date; and,
WHEREAS, a Second Addendum is necessary to cover changes in the scope of the project, and said addendum will result in an increase to the contract in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Second Addendum to the agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc., of Lenexa, KS, for the Fort Osage Education Center, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the original agreement and addenda.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
