IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 16 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2894, February 8, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: A 16 ñ acre tract of land generally located 3/10 of a mile south of Fricke Road on the east side of Morris Road and more specifically described as: A tract of land located in the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 16, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the north quarter corner of Section 16, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri; thence south 00 degrees, 11 minutes, 47 seconds east, 2620.23 feet to the northwest corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 16, said point being the true point of beginning of this description; thence south 89 degrees, 45 minutes, 47 seconds east, 890.25 feet; thence south 00 degrees, 11 minutes, 46 seconds east 782.73 feet; thence north 89 degrees, 45 minutes, 47 seconds west, 890.25 feet to a point on the west line of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said section 16; thence north 00 degrees, 11 minutes, 46 seconds west, 782.73 feet along the west line of said quarter, quarter section to the true point of beginning of this description. The above described tract of land contains 16.0 acres and is subject to road right-of-ways, easements and restrictions of record, if any. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert Rigby (RZ-99-142), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 21, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
