Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15045, dated June 7, 2004, the Legislature did authorize an Agreement with Boone Construction Company of Columbia, MO for the construction of the Old 40 Highway Bridge Replacement, Project No. 2429; and,
WHEREAS, proposed Change Order #1 (Final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities and reduce the contract amount by $13,300.16; and,
WHEREAS, Project No. 2429 has been completed and has been accepted by the County and the Missouri Department of Transportation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (Final) to the Agreement with Boone Construction on Project No. 2429; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to unencumber $13,300.16 and issue final payment.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
