Body
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to cover the costs of Family Court Division's "Family Centered Out of the Home Care Grant," whereby this project provides for the immediate involvement of the Juvenile Office in all potential and real out-of-home placements; and,
WHEREAS, the goal of this program is to facilitate joint decision making by the Juvenile Officer and the Division of Family Services at the earliest possible date to expedite permanency for children who come to the attention of the child welfare system; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2000 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
