BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
Legal Description:
An 8 ± acre tract of land generally located 1/4 of a mile west of Robinson Road on the south side of Old U.S. Highway 40 and more specifically described as the west 8 acres of the north 24 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 31, Township 49, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri except that part in public roads and highway aka 36809 E. 40 Highway.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Bradley Riley (RZ-99-170), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on November 18, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
