IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION commending Brian Mosier for making a comeback to high school football. Intro RESOLUTION #11007, October 30, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Victor E. Callahan and Fred Arbanas, County Legislators Body WHEREAS, Brian Mosier, a William Chrisman High School linebacker/tight end, suffered a serious injury this fall as a result of getting poked in the eye during an intra-squad game; and, WHEREAS, Brian suffered a ruptured artery near the retina of his right eye, causing him to lose all vision, with the exception of some peripheral vision; and, WHEREAS, Brian hasn't allowed his injury to cause him to give up on a sport which he loves and at whcih he is very successful and, through his own perseverance, strong family support, and the continual support of Chrisman Bears' coach, Joe Keeton, he has returned to the team on which he earned all-area and all-conference honors as a junior; and WHEREAS, Brian scored the sole touchdown for the Bears on his first game back against Lee's Summit; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature commends Brian Mosier for making a comeback in football and wishes him every success in his future football career...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
