Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney Office's Deferred Prosecution - Drug Court Program has requested comprehensive software services for a client tracking system for Drug Court purposes; and,
WHEREAS, ClientServ Corporation is able to provide services for a software solution for the
Deferred Prosecution - Drug Court Program as set forth in the proposal attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, the use of funds received by the County through a local law enforcement block grant (LLEBG) administered through the City of Kansas City, MO has been approved; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to fund the cost of these services; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer and execution of an Agreement commencing August 1, 2005 and terminating on December 31, 2005; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 2005 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with ClientServ Corporation for comprehensive drug court tracking software services in a form to be approved by the County Counselor in the amount of $58,800; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of Finance is authorized to make all payment on the contract including the final payment thereon.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
