IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 78-98 for the furnishing of sludge removal for use county-wide to Crowder Septic Service of Blue Springs, MO, to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated amount of $10,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION # 12251, June 15, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 78-98 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of sludge removal for use county-wide to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and, WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following: VENDOR BID Crowder Septic Service .0775 per gallon Blue Springs, MO Aqua Rod .19 per gallon Raytown, MO and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Crowder Septic Service of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
