Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18353, dated January  6, 2014, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Cooperative Agreement, in the amount of $166,000.00, with Morningstar Community Development Company for summer and after school youth programs; and,
 
WHEREAS, by Resolution 18534, dated June 2, 2014, the Legislature did authorize a First Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with Morningstar to revise the original budget due to some requested programming changes; and,
 
WHEREAS, Morningstar has submitted a second request to revise its original budget due to some staffing changes; and,
 
WHEREAS, a Second Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement is a suitable mechanism to memorialize the budget revisions; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Second Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with the Morningstar Community Development Company, at no additional cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
