Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and COMBAT Commission staff recommend the execution of a Professional Service Agreement with Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, MO, to conduct the first phase of an evaluation of COMBAT-supported treatment programs, at a cost to the County not to exceed of $51,178.00; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed services include review of existing information on the programs, interviews with key staff and stakeholders, review of previous evaluation materials, literature, and other background material, formulation of an evaluation methodology, and establishment of evaluation protocols, among other services; and,
WHEREAS, the term of the proposed agreement is from December 15, 2005 through April 15, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this expenditure, a transfer is necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends such transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, MO that the following transfer be and hereby is made:

BE IT RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Resource Development Institute Kansas City, MO, at a cost to the County not to exceed $51,176.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
