WHEREAS, the retirement of Doris Saputo, after over thirty-four years working for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO, will be celebrated on January 1, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Saputo started her work as a Criminal Clerk for the Honorable Harry S. Davis in Magistrate Court from August 1973 through January 1979; and,
WHEREAS, following her work for Judge Davis, she worked as a Criminal Clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Romano, Division 26, from January 1979 through April 1979; and,
WHEREAS, from April 1979 through May 1983, Ms. Saputo worked for some time in Civil Records and, for the majority of the time, in Criminal Records; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Saputo spent the following ten years working as Judicial Administrative Assistant in Division 107 (now Division 31) for the Honorable George V. Aylward, Judge; and,
WHEREAS, since that time, Ms. Saputo has worked as the Judicial Administrative Assistant to the Honorable Christine T. Sill-Rogers, Judge, Division 31; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Saputo is involved in community service as a member of Daughters of Columbus and Daughters of Isabella; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Saputo has three daughters, Josephine Saputo, Leanora Dicapo, and Mary Frances Marotta, who share in celebrating her retirement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby recognizes and congratulates Doris Saputo for her outstanding dedication and service to the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO, throughout the years and extends best wishes for her future endeavors upon her retirement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
