Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has been awarded a grant in the amount of $117,516.66 by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the Office’s Victim Services Program for the period July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the grant will cover partial funding for the salary, benefits, and training costs for two victim advocates; and,
WHEREAS, a match of $70,890.15 is required for this grant; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary in order to place the grant and matching funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2015 General Fund and appropriation from the fund balance of the 2015 Grant Fund be and are hereby made:
