BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 14 ñ acre tract of land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION: Commencing at the southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 14; thence North 01 degrees 59 minutes 22 seconds East along the west line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 2046.41 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 01 degrees 59 minutes 22 seconds East along said west line, a distance of 175.00 feet; thence North 67 degrees 35 minutes 31 seconds East, a distance of 1038.17 feet to a point on the north line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said section; thence North 63 degrees 51 minutes 01 seconds East, a distance of 425.20 feet to a point on the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said section; thence South 01 degrees 58 minutes 42 seconds West along said east line, a distance of 197.03 feet to the northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 14; thence South 01 degrees 47 minutes 31 seconds West along the east line of said quarter-quarter section, a distance of 595.00 feet to a point on the north line of the south 330 feet of the north 925 feet of said quarter-quarter section; thence North 88 degrees 332 minutes 41 seconds West along said north line, a distance of 1322.55 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Elvin Barnett (RZ-99-150), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
